Editor Nayim Saati joins Final Cut

We’re excited to announce the addition of Nayim Saati to our UK roster of editors! Born and raised in New York, Nayim relocated to Amsterdam in 2017, where his talents have secured him celebrated global campaigns and collaborations with acclaimed directors across a diverse range of projects, from advertising to feature film.

Nayim kicked off his editing career while interning at production companies around NYC. He soon cut his teeth editing drama, documentary, branded content and live concert films around the globe. He then founded his own production company and jumped into the world of sports, working frequently with the NBA and Under Armour.

With experience at some of New York’s top commercial edit houses under his belt, Nayim took his craft to Amsterdam and lent his skills to many of the city’s most celebrated agencies, eventually settling at 72andSunny.

Nayim’s commercial clients include Coca-Cola, Google, Adidas and Tumi. Frequent collaborators include directors Mishka Kornai and Basha de Bruijn, while his work for Under Armour has led to collaborations with directors such as Gustav Johansson, Jonas Lindstroem, Judith Veenendaal and Maik Schuster.

“My favourite part of this industry is the creative relationships we build on the way to great work,” says Nayim, “so beginning a new relationship with all the creative people at Final Cut is exciting. From my first chats with David & Michelle I knew it would be a great fit and I’m thrilled to join such a talented roster of editors. I’m excited to help bring Final Cut’s stellar reputation to Amsterdam.”

“We’re chuffed to have Nayim join our roster of editors,” says managing director and editor David Webb. “He’s an exciting talent and one to watch. We think he will perfectly complement our existing roster and give us boots on the ground in Amsterdam, a city that we all know and love.”
